God of War Collection - WOW!

A buddy of mine has just let me borrow this collection as I did not have a PS2 when the came came out and have never played them. Let me just say...I don't know how the games looked originally, but in 1080P I'm hard pressed to see this game as being 5 years old.

I am only on the first one, but I will be done soon as I can not put it down. I'm sitting at work right now reading strategy guides for it...just thought I'd share that I have been missing out...that is all.

The GoW series is a masterful series. Enjoy!

Im playing through the first one right now and it is great fun. I didnt have a ps2 either so this is my first time playing the series.

The GoW games always looked good. Can't wait to get the third one now.

When GOW1 came out for PS2 and I played it (day 1) I said a big "POPO" (it's WOW in Greek :P). The same with GOW2. IMO, they are 2 of the greatest games in the history of PlayStation. Now, I can't wait anymore to play GOW3... 9 days left.ks1990steelman

Yeah... better finish it up soon... God of War III is just around the corner. 8)

I'm playing through God of War (in the collection) for my second time for the speed run trophy, and it's probably my 5th-6th time overall as I played it several times through on my PS2. They were so good that I bought them again!!

I can't wait to finish up the first two this weeked so that I'll be 100% ready for God of War 3 come Tuesday!!! Thank God I have spring break next week! :D

Yeah they're some of the greatest games out there. Hurry up man. God of War 3 is just around the corner.

God of War 2 has held up very well. The first game did not fare as well, though it only looks truly atrocious during in game cinematics, as the character models are of N64 quality.SteveTabernacle

just started gow2 yester day, got to beat that by next tuesday, but i also have to beat that batman game(stsarted thattoday, it goes back to blockbuster next tuesday) alot of video gameing going on for me this week

And Sony still hasn't brought the God of War Collection to the UK, let alone the EU. Judging from their other decisions this generation, however, it is evident that one shouldn't expect too much from them when it comes to making smart decisions.

i just beat th gow and im trying to platinum it, but god mode is damn hard man! im just in the 1st boss in god mode and cnt beat that monster's ass! so yea im moving to gow 2 :) and after finishing the game ima gonna try to platinum the gow again and gow 2 and i hope i have my money to buy the gow 3 after i finish my plans :)LightGalaxy_07

just a heads up, there are no trophies for beating the game on god mode. You can play it on easy and still get the plat. for it. You do, however, have to beat the challenge of the gods, which is equal to hard.

Enjoy god mode for the challenge...but no trophy for the efforts unfortunately.

I play my copy on pc through an emulator, and I have it rendering at 1680*1050, it looks really good for a ps2 game and can hold its own against many current gen console games.
