god of war colelction question....

well i always wanted to ask this but never got to it, and now that i beaten the games, i have a quick question regarding god of war one. right by oracls temple theres this OLD GUY digging, and apparently knows kratos and says taht he will aid him when the time is right blah blah blah, now i was wondering who is this old guy, maybe i missed it or somethin but they kinda go of track with him, i have no idea who he is or if hes related to kratos or somethin like that. he kinda calls him son, maybe cuz hes old and kratos is young and thats wat old ppl say lol, but does anyone know who the hell he is? thank u in advance
