Hi guys,

I've said before on these forums that my router is giving me hell connecting my PS3 to PSN, for some reason though, my PSP has no trouble connecting, so I can happily download PSOne games onto my PSP.

How can I get these PSOne games stored on my PSP, onto my 160GB fat PS3?

Yes I've tried the USB cable - that seems to only let me transfer pictures, videos, music etc.

I'm not sure about the PS1 games, but regarding your router issue, have you updated the routers firmware? I had trouble getting my iPhone to connect to my router. Once I updated the router's firmware, everything works great.

I have, but thanks for the suggestion - it doesn't really bother me that my PS3 can't connect to PSN, as I use my Xbox for my online gaming fix. It's just weird that I can't seem to transfer PSOne games downloaded onto my PSP originally, onto my PS3.

Have you tried logging into PSN on PS3 and looking at your download history? Your PS1 games might be in there.

As long as your PSP and your PS3 are logged into the same PSN account there shouldn't be an issue. I buy PSN stuff on my PSP and then transfer it to my Media Go, so dumping to a PS3 hard drive can't be any different in terms of DRM or anything. Check the master menu system of the PS3 and see if there is a menu for memory access, disc manager,or the like (I don't own a PS3 yet so I'm not sure of the location or proper title) and see if it shows the drive of the PSP, like when you look for drives on a PC. There's got to be a way to manage info between the two devices, it was a selling point.

I'm not an expert, but that's how my logic sees the problem.

For game transfers, it is only supported from the PS3 to the PSP as far as I've ever found
