getting my psp to work online

i cant get it to work

 heres what im doing

i click Network Settings

then i click infrastucture mode

[New Connection]

Connection Name= Connection 1

Scan= SSID=Homenet Security= WPA-PSK(TKIP)  Signal Strength= 100%

WLAN Security Setting-i pick WPA-PSK(TKIP)

WPA Key i enter the same password i used for my ps3

address settings i just pick easy

i save settings

i test connection

its says

A connection error has occurred

the key information exchange timed out

Did you set the Wi-Fi router to pairing mode? somthing similar happened to me, it works now. Also be sure to enter the WEP/WPA key correctly becuase i have a 32 alphanumerical WPA key , (i think) and i somtimes misspell it :(.  Be sure to put the correct secuirity settings aswell, i cant remember if the PSP detects it by itself.

Its not alot of info, but i didnt have much trouble with mine, and i wouldent know :( sorry

Are you using somekind of router? If you are, maybe you should check the router configuration. This is what I recommend: 1. Disable the security features. (this means that you don't have to enter any password when connecting PSP to the router) 2. Reconfigure your PSP: no security 3. Test your connection
