GDC 08 a Sony Letdown?

sony wont have a lot at the GDC, they are saveing it for E3 !Trx07

well wtf is up with that? sony has been keeping us in the dark with practically half of their big games, and when something like GDC is around, they dont even show. ugh.

I think GDC is not the place to announce new games, well MS did but they just announced when they will be released nothing new, the real deal is E3.

But I agree they should have at least talk about Home or something relating to the PS3, maybe tomorrow if GDC goes on till tomorrow I don't really know.

But yet MS announced Gears 2, so I think it's a little more than a tech conference. Regardless, like someone above said....Sony is probably waiting for E3.

Well, last year Sony announced Home, Little Big Planet and didn't they also show off the PSP slim for the first time? When you see all that and this year nothing, it is a disappointment.

Sony is saving up all its exclusives and such for E3. Expect a lot from sony in e3 and not a lot from Microsoft since they have already introduced most of their exclusives which were really hyped up. The only thing microsoft would do at E3 to make ppl go crazy is probably new halo wars footage and ..yuh..thats about it.

Like it's been siad GDC is not typical great for breaking news, but Sony's keynote is suppossed to be on Friday.

And I've hear that Sony itself has some kind of event coming up, they might be saving for that.

It's just like every other conference, one company usually has their day or part of the day, maybe SOn'ys devs are tomorrow.

i think MS did what they did because they had to, besides it didnt even have any ingame footage and made sense for them to reveal it since Epic came out with their new engine

That of course is probably pretty dead on balls accurate. I don't remember ever hearing too much come from GDC anyways.

www.ps3scene.com posted some nice updates today on HOME, which made me very happy.

Hopefully HOME will be released this year. :)

this is one of two days, mayb tommarrow will be all out sony.

but lets not forget, sony never actually ever reveals anything when they make announcments anyway, look at e3 2007 and how many things they promised to be out before 08. they are never specific so even if they do say anything big it will be like "in game xmb, out soon."

or more likely, a kz 2 video of the same level again and at the end it says "late 2009"!
