i feel like gamepsot is ignoring this great handheld console. they are barely putting any new reviews or previews or anything else and when they make a review they mark the game so harshly. what do you think?
Gamespot isn't ignoring the PSP completely- we've been getting previews now and then (Final Fantasy dissidia and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep are the primary examples here).
But the first poster here had a point- we haven't gotten that much PSP coverage, simply because there hasn't been anything really big coming out for the PSP since early this year (when Gow: Chains of Olympus and FF7: Crisis Core came out).
Yah like some other users have already stated, not much has happend with the psp in the past couple months. But I will give it to you, that GS has never had great coverage of the psp. That's why i go to IGN for my gaming news(psp in paticular) because they update the psp section with some sort of interview or preview everyday, for the most part.
Like the guy in the first post said, we're not really getting that much coverage. And it's not only previews and interviews but it's also reviews. Gamespot usually takes 5-10 days to review a psp game. They usually review games for other consoles either before or on the release date. Also just because there aren't many games being released, it doesn't mean that there aren't some really good ones being created as we speak(cough, cough, talks of little big planet on the psp-not just a rumour; posting for job listings found for LBP on the psp).
It's Blasphemy against Gamespot! Nah just kidding it's true gamespot is indeed ignoring the psp a bit , but so do all other game mags/sites so get used to it. PSP is underground!
Gamespot isn't the fault for ignoring these games, it's just that not many good games coming out. Sony's focusing on the PS3 mainly since that doesn't have much games either. But yeah gamespot does put out very harsh ratings for some games i think are very good.

Hmmm true, I haven't bought a PSP game that released this year since Crisis Core came out. I bought Disgaea in July but that wasn't released this year.
PSP is having an extremely slow year, much like how DS did last year.
Don't blame developer or sony. Blame ppl who lie to illegal download psp game. As long as many ppl keep pirating psp games, psp will nvr get out from its current slow pace.
yeah GS is definately ignoring the psp. they take forever to review new PSP games (if they review it at all). they just focus on ps3, 360, wii, and ds.
