Freaky Freezing !!!

when my Xbox360 is started freezing , i freaked out !! and after all .. it was his funeral :cry: ...

now my PS3 is started freezing !!!!! i just hope it dont end up like Xbox360 ..

does any one facing the same problem !?!!?? :?

freezes with every game or just one in particular??

and what firmware update do you have??

first it was freezing only on Need For Speed carbon and then it started freezing in everything .

and the firmwere is 2.00 everytime i try to download the 2.01 a problem happens is the updating !!!

that'sright !! i guess after a few years they'll notice that they r doing something wrong !

Start with turning off the Info Bar.

I've had my PS3 since US launch and most all my freezes were software related. The Info Bar has given me hiccups lately. Every so often you get an odd hang up but nothing a quick reboot doesn't fix.

Is yours a 60gig?

I wouldn't worry too much.

Mine freezes while watching Blu Rays (this could be a dirty or scratched disc though? darn netflix)

Sometimes the video dies ( I have the shutdown controller button sequence memorised )

I would say my ps3 has locked up where I needed to power it down with the switch in the back maybe 6 times over the course of a year.

As someone above me said , try turning off the news ticker.

When I updated to 2.0 the only time mine froze was when the news ticker was loading..

No it doesn't. My ps3 still freezes at least 5 times in one hour.skater924
