After the second red ring I decided to switch to a Ps3, especially for the first party titles! Anyways, I played the ps3 before and love it, but my only problem is how light weight the controllers are, and the analog sticks our rounded out instead of having indentions like 360 which I prefer. Are there any good after market controllers that have a little more weight to them? Or have analog sticks that suck in and not stick out? Any help would be much appreciated.

You could buy an Xbox controller that works on PS3, I think MadCatz make them.

This is a well-known analog stick mod used with the ps3 controller.

Just add some weights to the controller.

Get the XCM Cross controller Module - Tiger Direct - and you can use your 360 controller on a ps3. I have it and it works great. No lag or anything and it's programmable.

^ This.

don't know if you played with the original sixaxis controller or the dual shock. the dual shock has more weight to it. I don't see why you'd want anything heavier than that. But everyone has different preferences, i guess .

IT's b/c I'm so used to the 360 controller now that the ps3 controller just feels too light for me. Hard to explain. Also, I have big hands and the placement of the sticks is just weird for me, so I think I will buy that 360 controller that works on ps3. I just hope the D-pad doesn't suck as bad as it does for 360.

If every xbox owner did this then Microsoft would have no market left... If anything aftermarket controllers have less weight but people buy the thumbsticks and the triggers and say they can never turn back, might wanna give them a go.

The Shadow might be your best bet. You would probably have to use the aforementioned stick mod with it though, if possible.

I would also like to add that my hands are much larger than the average. I am a very tall guy, and my hands are about nearly 1 foot in length from tip of thumb to tip of ring finger. My hands don't cramp up or have issues with a PS3 controller at all. Everyone is different, but I am not sure large hands is the proper defense in this situation.

I use GelTabz on my analog sticks. They're little rubber grips that pop onto the end of the sticks; they have the Xbox indents and nubs, and they work on all three systems' controllers. And they're cheap. My Gamestop has them sometimes, but I buy several packs at a time on their website. Regardless of which controller you're using, you get better grip. I love them and hate playing without them now.
