Finally I will have a ps3!!!

Well I'm going to have my ps3 in July, finally, I've been waiting since my 360 got the ROD and since then only playing wii but I thought it was already time for some mature games and why not buy a ps3?? so my father accepted and as I said before for July, the only problem that with my ps3 I will have it with 3 games , and well I already choose 3 but I would like your opinion, the games are:

- GTA IV (of course)

- Assassins creed

- Devil May cry 4

or you recommend other...?

I didn't like Devil May Cry so much, but that's just my opinion. You can't go wrong with Uncharted though. :)

Get DMC4 only if you're a big fan of the story *like me :P* It's a great game..except you got to use Nero, which i hate =[. It just lacks The leveling part of every each Style from DMC3.

Anyways i suggest picking up COD4,Uncharted,GTAIV!!

Pre-order...

-Resistance 2: Rise of Man

i bought a Ps3 and the games on it dont appeal to me as much as 360 do

BUT I LOVE FINAL FANTASY

So i just use my ps3 to play ff 7,8,10,10-2,12 and kingdom hearts 2 :]

but need for speed carbon ,motor storm,and ninja gaiden arent so amazeing :[

im waiting for the MGS4 Bundle !!!! :cry: !!

but when getting the bundle, i will add Warhawk, then wait for september for LBP and KZ2 ( if they come out on september as scheduled

I dont know why MGS4 isnt on your list. Maybe you dont like stealth-action games. You could do without Assassin's Creed and Devil May Cry 4. I didnt think they were really worth the money or playthrough. GTA IV is definitely a must-have. My picks would be MGS4, GTAIV, and Haze. I know Haze hasn't come out yet but those would be my picks, regardless.

GTA IV for sure,
DMC only if you're a fan, otherwise just rent.
Assasin's Creed can be skipped since you have the best sandbox game (GTA4)

MGS4 is a definite as you get online play and a rocking story.
You also need COD4, or swap that out for Uncharted.

Rent DMC4 and AC, They are both awesome games, but the steam sort of leaves you after playing awhile. I didnt really playthru DMC4 as much as i did DMC3, it lacked something, cant pin point.

AC is an incredible experience at the start, but after a few chapters, it sort of gets old, you could stop playing it for a few weeks and not be bothered by it.

Get Uncharted, the only game on PS3 that has made me go :o from start to finish. Resistence is fine.

I should buy MGS 4 but... I haven't play the other (1,2,3 :P) so I don't know if I will understand thew story, instead I have play DMC 1,2,3 and 3 special E. so I think I will enjoy continuing with the dmc 4, and uncharted ... is it that good, BETTER THAN TOMB RAIDER???:P you have made me doubt of Assassins creed ... may be I will insteasd buy Uncharted, what do you think is Uncharted a better option than AC?Lucho_21

okay in tht case buy MGS3 and then play tht 2 get the story....from there u can read up the storyline of MGS1 and 2 on the internet then u will be prepared 4 MGS4

Homie you need some MGS4 & Uncharted with that GTA4 I'd pass on the other games.

i would definately drop AC and DMC4 and get COD4/Resistance (imo COD4 is better, although i only played resistance a couple of times at a friends house and i thought COD4 was better, but ppl here seem to like Resistance so i dunno) and pick up Uncharted

Your best bet would be to:

Buy GTA4 and COD4/Resistance

and Rent:

UnchartedHeavenly SwordAssassinsDMC4Ratchet and Clank

Rent AC, you'll be crying once you realise that the whole game is one big repetition. Uncharted is much better. Also get MGS essentials to catch up on the series, since MGS4 is a must. Ratchet & Clank Future is great too.

Three to get:

Uncharted or Ratchet and Clank

Call of Duty 4

Metal Gear Solid 4

Two to look out for that are coming out soon: Battlefield: Bad Company and HAZE

I haven't played GTAIV yet, so I don;t know how it is.

If you are into beat-em up (like DMC) get ninja gaiden sigma instead. Much, much , much better.

OR

The PS3 mod chip will probably be out by then, and you could get that.

OR

Get the MGS4 Bundle, so you already have MGS4

P.S. If you are into racing games, get Gran Turismo 5 Prologue or Motorstorm

P.S.S. It doesn't matter if you don;t know the mgs story. You can either ask someone to explain it for you, or in the game they added this new feauture, were you go up to a character, and if you press 'X', you get all these flashbacks, so the story will be explained to you.
