You know at this point I think half the nuts who worship FF7 never even played it. It was a great game...for 1996-97. FF8 was just a good even better. And FF10 was way better all around. Let it go people.

it's a really great game. i wish my copy wasn't stolen. i was working on my 7th or 8th run through. i would get it if it went to the psn store

Neither 8 nor 10 was better than 7.
I thought 8 was horrible, really... and 10 was pretty good, but the characters irritated me.

But regardless, it was a great game for 96-97, and all it would take is a graphics update and better localization to make it a great game for 08-09. But if it was just a upscaled downloadable like this article shows, screw that. I still have my PS1 discs for that. But I'd buy a full-on remake for PS3 for sure.

This girl is notorious for just posting things on the internet as "rumors"/confirmations. Occasionally something is right, but if you asked me to sit down and predict 20 things that will happen in gaming this year, at least 4 would come true.

Just chalk this up to BS and wait for a reputable site to report it.

Umm...no. At this point I think half the nuts who worship FFX never even played it. It has nothing on VII...period. Let it go people.

FFVII characters didn't even have voice actors, and I still feel more connected to them than I did ANY of FFX's characters. FFX has nice graphics, and that's about it.

I wouldn't call info from somebody called "sufergirl" confirmed news unless she was for Sqaure or Sony.

I could dump in a box and stamp a guarantee on it....but that doesn't make it guaranteed crap does it? 'tommy boy'

also this is a huge RUMOR. If anything Square would tell us first...not some surfergirl.

Surfergirl is a rumour blog. This is not a confirmation.

It'd be nice though, but if they do a direct port i'd be very disappointed. They should at least push the engine up somewhat, because graphics (and the battle system) haven't aged all that well.

Still one of my favourite games though.
