Final Fantasy is dumb?

That title was just to bring you into clicking these thread.

Why is the Final fantasy series so hyped and loved by almost every Ps3 user.

Personnally i Don't Care for the series, ive played FF 1,2,7,8,9,10,10"2" and i just don't see anything special in the series

there good games but not my style of RPG i guess.

Im in love with Namco's Tales series though, Can someone please explain to me why they like the series and why they keep playing it.

Im just intrested in other peoples opinion of a famous series.

FF7 was the first game i played. I loved that game but the best thing about it was the fighting controls. Some of the more recent games have change the controls but its still a good game.

The other reason why this games sales so well is because it alway hyped to the max by the devoted fans and the games has always got some of the best graphics out there.

I've only played Crisis core, it's great.

Well I can only speak for myself, I just loved how epic they are, can put so many hours into it and follow a good story. just wander around fighting and the mini games are always fun. Now in saying that, they aint that great. In my opinion 7 was good, 8 was great, 9 was ok and 10 was lacking. I don't hold much hope for 13. The reason I think its so popular is because its epic but easy to get into, unlike the other epic rpgs around that have a steep learning curve.
