FIFA 08 was way better graphics, wtf?

First off, the gameplay is brilliant and the best recreation of the beautiful game ever made.

The graphics however are terrible. Nice close up, but from afar where you view the game 99% of the time it looks like crappy single coloured polygons. Whats the deal, they took a step back from 08? It looks like im playin an old pc game on an outdated graphic card

If the game plays better than Fifa 08 then its an okay tradeoff.

I felt Woods 09 slacked a little what up EA Sports. tho i like the game better.

Seriously?! Are you playing it in high def?

It looks better than ever to me. Ok, it'll still be a long time coming before playing Fifa looks the same as watching Sky Sports or whatever, but its now much more realistic in my opinion. The players have lost that horrible plasticky/sweaty look that they had in 08, so its all good as far as I'm concerned.
