Man, playing this demo really reminded me of why I prefer PES over Fifa. This time I swear was the last time I let any Fifa game anywhere near my PS. It sucks. Compared to PES you do not at all have the feeling that you're actually in control of what your players do. PES is so much beter. Can't wait for that to be released so I can play a real football game.

What do you guys think about it?

Well. Its been downloading for about 2 years now and im only on 22%. So illlet you know soon lol.

But I know for a fact PES is gonna be vastly superior.

it sint bad at al, its just more simulation then arcade this year. u guess u have to appreciate football u get anything out of this demo. plus it is only a DEMO (small in size also for a ps3 demo) so there is only so much content they could fit into it.

I personaly always loved FIFA more than PES so I can't wait to get home from work and download it!!!

I don't care really, if is good to you or not I have always hated PES with its horrible graphics and skills. FIFA also feels free-er and less of crapy put together game.

PES is much more sim than this piece of crap is, and yet its still about 50 times better in every category except graphics....

i guess you have never played fifa before. yes the final game will have comentators. I perfer the spanish comentators. and the reason they dont appear is simple it's a demo and to make the file smaller.

As an American, I found myself dumbfounded by all the socceristic trappings of it.  Really, this game would be a lot better if there were more play stoppages and hitting.  And no nets.  They will be replaced by something called an "end zone".  I think there'll be a lot less kicking, too.  I mean, come on, people!  We've evolved!  We can use our hands for these things now.

You see, like many Americans, I find soccer a rather impenetrable culture.  I'm sure that much of my sucking at the FIFA demo can be attributed to my lack of understanding of basic soccer (okay, "futbol") strategy.  On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I was born with a working knowledge of the cover 2 defense and the importance of play action in offensive balance.

Kidding aside, I thought the demo was pretty good, though I'd like more fine control on the passing.

I hate passing it to a teammate down the field just to have them only stand there while the computer A.I. runs towards the ball. My guys make no effort at all. Bunch of dead bots on the field. And when I click on them, it pulls them away from the ball. Not to mention stealing the ball is a complete pain in the ***
