FF PSP available in the US?

Does anyone know if the FF PSP is going to be available in the US? I've looked everywhere for news on this. Has this already been released in the US and i'm just behind on learning about it? I know EU just got their release of this model so I'm hoping for some news on a US release.

I was thinking about importing the EU version, but if there is one coming to the US in october I will definitely wait.
