Favourite Racing game type?

So what is your favourite type of racing game?

I like aggresive racing games like Burnout and Need for Speed: Shift, so I'd say Street Racing :)

Motorstorm is also pretty cool

Street Racing (Tokyo Xtreme Racer, Burnout) and Futuristic (F-zero, Wipeout)

I only like Burnout.

I'm an absolute racing game addict - I like em all from super simulation like GT5 and Forza 3, through off-road like MotorStorm and Pure, arcade like Burnout ( and soon to be Split/Second and Blur ) kart racers, Mario, Sonic and SEGA and soon to be ModNation - just can't get enough of em :D:D:D

I like racing on race tracks. You can memorize the corners and work on hitting them all perfectly, so it gives you something to work towards. I also think it's really cool to be driving around real-life courses like the Nurburgring and a lot of others.

Circuit and rally.

Really i only like GT more specifically GT3, i didn't like gt4..

I played mario kart 64 and had a blast.

but those are only 2 racing games that i have liked in many many years..

i believe i liked top gear on the SNES or NES one of the two i forget.

yup so 3 racing games i have enjoyed in 20+ years of gaming.

My favorite (although I like mostly all of them) is street racing, which begs the question, why has there not been a NFSU 3. I would love to see EA and Codemasters team up to develope a street racing game like NFSU but with updated weather, night/day cycle, pimp your ride (Loved doing this in NFSU), graphics, and driving mechanics that have a bit more of a realistic weighted feel, but not too realistic.

I have to sya my favourite from what ive played is circuit racing, well Forza on the xbox, i had an original xbox (no 360) and Forza was an amazing game on the online was really great. On PS3 Motorstorm is my favourite really great game. I am looking forward to GT5 i hope it's better than Forza!

Midnight club LA and NFS unercover both have good car choice,free roam and police chases so i guess thats street racing

I like Kart racing games the best especially Sega All-Stars Racing it's so much fun to play I also like the Mario Kart series. I'm also a big fan of the Burnout series crashing and smashing cars is what makes it so fun I have been since Burnout 1 when Acclaim used to publish it.
