Example Why Sony Should ReConsider BC

I got this in an email from Playstation Network which was promting Jak and Daxter the PS2 version. Now i can see if it was the PSP version (considering the game is on the PSN), or some how Sony knows i still have a PS2 system and a BC PS3(MGS4 bundle), i dont understand this email.

Its safe to say the majority of PS3 owners dont have BC or dont have a PS2 system anymore so the sitaution is even worst if every PSN user got the same email.

Imagine if every PS3 had BC, jak/daxter will have more potential buyers. and those buyers loved the series on PS2

I think it's safe to say they do have a PS2. One in every five US houselholds has one.

im prettty sure about 90% (made up percentage) still have PS2s in there households.. its still on sales charts with current gen systems for gods sake!!! LP4EVA2005

I've never had a PS2 :( I've also never played the Jak & Daxter games either so that might be why I don't care very much about this game.

The Lost Frontier is a PSP game ported onto the PS2, hence all the camera issues associated with the game due to devs making it to accomodate lack of a 2nd analog.

BC on the other hand, I would say no to. But that's only because I'm tired of having to fire up my PS2 to play Persona 4, Fatal Frame, and Kingdom Hearts.

If BC was still around, the Slim wouldn't be only 300 bucks. It was taken out to cut the cost.
