ever platinumed a game without trying

have you ever gotten the platinum or very close to all the trophys(or achievment fo all us omni gamers)

i did it twice so far. once this year and once couple years back

i nearly got the platinum for the new blazblue game and i just noticed today all i need to do is get the trophy for carl(never use him) and get all the colectibles.

and for the other game i got 1000 gamerscore on oblivion without me ever trying.

and to boot bioshock on my first playthrough i got 840 gamerscore

not really, the only game I know where that could probably happend is with Terminator Salvation

LOL, ya, you get 100% of the terminator salvation trophies just by completing the game on hard mode. Every trophy is for beating a chapter or difficulty level of the whole game.

Borderlands was exceptionally easy. Play through it once and there's 3 trophies left you need to do. Those are the character specific ones which were pretty easy.

I guess CoD Classic for me at least because almost all the trophies dealt with beating levels and the three difficulty levels.

Well, every game I just play with my girlfriend who likes to play but not too complex games. Thanks to her (she's a completionist) I got the plats in Buzz and some movie games, she also collected almost everything in Burnout xD For me personal, I usually have a look at the trophy list so I know that I might abuse a special situation to get a trophy faster and besides that, I like to watch my list from time to time so I can see my progression

I did this with God of War, I finished and only need 5 trophies, 3 of which could easily be done in the playthrough, I just didn't do it.

and the trophies are all gold lol, I think that is only good to boost your trophy card :P

I got about 85% of Assassins Creed 2 without trying.

All GOW games..... and Pretty Close to ACII. Oh and Borderlands (which was my first Plat)

Yea, with Infaous because it wasjust so good I replayed it so many times and Saw just because its that easy to do.

A couple of quiet evenings with me, the wife and a few beers and we platinumed the game without even realising it!

Did it with Bayonetta.. just wanted to complete it on all the difficulties and suddenly I just got the platinum.
