Hey, I live in Australia where the UMD for Echochrome is available.

In the gamespot review, they reviewed the Downloadable version from the playstation store. They said that its levels were timed and thus made it really hard.

However, i'd like to ask if the UMD version of this game is timed as well? Does anybody know?

Moar stuff can be fitted onto a umd than downloaded stuff.
I checked it out and the UMD features more levels, like 50 or 70 more levels i think. However this doesnt' really concern me as i just want to know if it has a time limit and if it does, then can you turn it off.

Anybody??

When you download something, it can be whatever size it wants and hold how much it wants. So your wrong!

-_- trust me, if you look around on the net, i think ign said it? But trusted gaming websites said that the UMD version contains 50 or 70 more levels.

NOW, can ANYBODY answer my question regarding the Time Limit???

The U.S, Europe & Japanese playstation store versions all have 56 levels, the Japanese umd version has 96 levels & the Europe, Australia & New Zealand umd version has 315 levels. Ive got the europe umd version & so far have done about quarter of the 315 levels & none of them have had a time limit. So my guess is that the umd version doesnt have time limits on its levels.

I know, I loved the demo and I was going to buy it once it came out, but I heard it was available download only in the U.S. Now I can't play it unless I import it. Stupid Sony PS Store age limits.

There's a version called echochrome Plus floating around in Asia that has quite a lot of content over the downloadable versions and the Japanese UMD version. However, I don't know how the Europe & Australia versions compare to that version. This is getting confusing...

I'd love to get that. The time limit was the thing that was scaring me off downloading the PSN version.

I think echochrome is a really cool game. It`s as least the same brain training as dr. kawashimas...

Here is a very nice Review

I'm thinking of importing the Aussie UMD, just because it has so many levels.
