EA Boss accidently confirms BLACK sequel for PS3!!

At the same time he stands up for PS3 (as well as other next gen consoles) and tells the critics out there to hold off judgement until two years time! but the best part is he makes mention as to what type of games EA will focus the PS3's cell processor on!

"Shooters like Medal of Honor, Black, we will clearly concentrate on PlayStation 3 because we need Cell processor power."

We all know about medal of honor airborne, but this is the first ive heard EA make mention of Black on next gen consoles. thoughts?

I hope that line doesn't mean they're not going to include online for the next BLACK or do a crappy job with it.

He's making a blind assumption that Black2 would suck either way. Its the same assumption that Killzone2 is going to suck because the first one wasn't mid-blowing (so I hear). I remember how bad Warcraft 1 was, but if you look at Warcraft 2 & then 3, you can see that sequals really do help a game if they are done correctly. Just look at the Burnout series as another fine example. I have confidence that Sony and EA know how to make the games better.

the exact same as happened at ubisoft aswell. They mentioned the frence developer that are sequelling a game just for the PS3. Its obviously XII. At the end of that game, it does same TO BE CONTINUED.....

but in this sense the slip up was less direct, i just happened to know the name of the developer.  x

My point was just that I played BLACK recently and really enjoyed it (check my blog for the long-winded version). So I was curious if he said "oh look another shooter" and immediately thought it had nothing in it. 

SOCOM 4 is going to be a breath of fresh air. x

The reason black will be good on the PS3, is the sound will be top bullock becuase of how many individual channels the cell can process. The sound was the pinnacle thing on the 1st. x
