We may see them on actual retail games as after all there is so much space on the disc and thus far most of these games disc space must be getting wasted.

They might be on freebie CDs included in videogames that you have to pay for (thus making them not free).

They might have some demos when you preorder a certain game, such as God of War 2.

The days of demo discs in magazines or reservations is quickly fading away. You are going to see within the next year or to the complete (or near) removal of this way of distribution. With the internet being as prevalent as it s there is little need or reason for a publisher to shell out the cost of physical demos when they can deliver them faster and cheaper online.

Yeah tell me about it, luckely OPM is one mag they still sell here, but many magazine shops are closing

There is no point in putting demos anywhere but online, If you can afford a luxury item then you can afford broadband.

They don't have to be, demos don't needmore than 4GB of disk space.

I was such a loyal gamepro reader I think its pointless to have these gaming mags now specially since you can find all the info plus more on the internet and way earlier
