I don't have one but i want to know whats the best headset to get. (Getting ready for Killzone 2)

I just use one I got with my phone from work. It's a Nokia. Works without problems. (Bluetooth). By the way, if you have one of the SOCOM headsets for PS2 (USB) they work also. (Though the wire is annoying...)

The PS3 Official Headset Sounds better, is easier to "Marry" to the PS3, and gives you a status read-out of batery charge level, and functionality, which no other headset offers.

I also have the Jabra, and while it works just fine, I strongly recommend the Official PS3 one

The answer to this depends on what you want the headset to do.

I originally bought a cheap USB headset, but took it back when I realized that none of the game sounds would come through it.

Turtle Beach has a headset out (the PX1) that has taps for the red and white audio cables that go to the TV. This lets their headset play game sounds and chat through the headset. You just have to turn down the TV, and that will keep all the non-players in the house happy.

They are more than the Bluetooth headsets ($80 + Shipping), but well worth it to me. They do require 2 USB ports (one for power to the headphones, and the second for the USB sound card it ships with). This was a problem for me because my steering wheel also uses USB, and the 80Gb only has 2 ports. A hub solved that though.

Yeah, I bought the socom Bundle mainly for the official headset, I hate the lag in that gameAgentA-Mi6
