I've played through it a few times and each successive play-through left me less and less impressed (purely on a solo player basis, and nothing to do with whatever online value the game might have). "Tactical Strike" remains my fav SOCOM game on the PSP. I'm not sold on the controls or the size of the levels & objectives.
Socom FTB3 is not worth the $40 price tag if you don't have Wi-Fi or don't play online games. The single player took me about 3 hours to complete on the hardest difficulty. The single player is worth about $10 IMHO. The multiplayer is awesome though, so it evens it out. The game overall is worth $40 if you have wireless high speed.
