Do PS1 titles play better on PS3 or PSP

I'm about to download MGS or FF7(haven't decided yet) and i was wondering if i should play them on ps3 or my psp/ Which one plays better? Like are the psp controls difficult ot anything?

PSP it's easier on the eyes. PS classics on a 50 inch screen just isn't much to look at.

FFVII on the go just feels so...epic.

They would look better on the PSP but the controls are better suited to the DualShock 3. And if you download the PS3 versions, you could use Remote Play to play them on the PSP as well.

Really bad for fighting games too. I have to play FFVII through remote play now because its too big for my memory card...but its somewhat bareable.

does anyone know if you can continue a saved game from the original ps1 disc on the digital version? i have a saved game on the virtual ps1 memory card but if i get the digital one will i be able to continue the save? also does anyone know if i would then be able to use the same save for ps3 and psp?

PSP. They just don't look good on a PS3. Nor do most PS2 games.

YO
