Blizzard is now hiring for the Diablo III PS3 Project meaning; we're getting Diablo III on PS3. Hopefully they don't dumb it down for consoles. I was gonna get it on the PC, but after hearing that you have to be online all the time and your character might be gone forever and whatnot I changed my mind.
eh, i might get it. im not the biggest fan of the genre, but sometimes im in the mood for it and blizzard does that sort of thing really well. its just like the starcraft games arent the deepest rts's out there, but blizzard balanced them so well that they are still great.
might get it if it has KB/M support. other than that, it'll still take a long time before the game is actually released. blizzard likes to take it's time. as we all might have figured out by now.
I am getting it for PC. Only way I would be picking up a copy for the PS3 too, would be if my kids wanted to play it. I wonder if there will be cross platform play.
If the game gets a positive reception, I might get this on pc or ps3, depending on the release date. I would rather get this for my laptop, since I have a huge break during my classes (5 hours, to be exact). Love the fact that diablo is a huge time sink! I love those kinda games - those are the games that get you hooked and never let go!
I'd be fine with playing it if you don't have to be signed into the PSN in order to play it, like the PC versions having to be online to play... There's no way my PC will run it, and i played "Diablo II" on Playstation so I don't mind it as a console title.
CONSOLES SUPPORT KEYBOARD AND MOUSE so there is no reason why it can play on the consoles just like it does for the PC. unreal tournament 3 for the ps3 has full support for keyboard and mouse so if it comes out which i think there could be a strong chance with the amount of interest of this game from console gamers i just want them to add k/m support as it would just be amazing
The PS3 has keyboard and mouse support so they should go the route of unreal tournament 3 and give a button layout for the controller but also letting you plug your usb mouse and keyboard in and play it the exact same way as the pc version. I dont pre order many games but if they would give me i would buy it without a 2nd though if not i would have to see how it played and even then i might be abit funny about it
Only if the PS3 version doesn't require me to have an always-on internet connection and has LAN support. Since that will never happen...no, I'm the exact opposite of in. Blizzard is dead to me.

Well anyone who cares about Diablo probably already has a gaming PC, if not then they have a PC that could at least play the first two and would probably upgrade if they cared enough about III.
I mean I'm not a big Diablo guy but if I got it anywhere I'd get it on PC. Its just meant for PC, like how Modern Warfare is now kind of meant for consoles. I mean you COULD play them elsewhere, but why would you?

This. I'd LOVE to upgrade my computer, the only thing really holding me back is my 7 year old "budget" AMD 2.2Ghz processor. But in order to upgrade that, I'd pretty much need to rebuild my entire computer, getting a new mobo, ram, cpu, and maybe (but maybe not) a new power supply. and from what I gather, it's going to cost me a minimum of $4-500. And when you're unemployed, that is a good chunk of cash.

:roll: yeah, they've said theyre "looking into it" for the last 2 years, personally I'd love it on PS3, even with the crappier control scheme I'm like the only one of my friends who plays PC games so it would be great to team up with my homies.
