DeadSpace 2 Question

if you have a save file from deadspace 1 or extraction, do you get anything extra in deadspace 2?

you get the plasma cutter from dead space 1 unlocked in the store. I havent used but it dosent seem to be any different from the plasma cutter you start with it just looks different.

The only difference I noticed was that the regular one had a 67 next to it in the inventory and the "refurbished" one had the number 70 next to it.

You get the original plasma cutter. If you haven't played "Extraction" you will essentially know what is going on in the next DLC pack (story based) that involves two characters from the game. People who only have 360's or gaming PC's may be a little confused as to who the two characters are/
