I like the fact that Crash has made a come back.
When I tried the Crash Bandicoot remake it was pretty good but something is amiss. Like the RE1 remake but not you are getting the same game but different but only slightly.
Crash Bandicoot remake has worse music and art style.
Realistic fur on cartoon bandicoots look off. It lacks the grit of the original and the dark tones. Crash looks rounder and more cute. He has no 'tude. In each Crash Bandicoot there is an artistic evolution on the PS1 version that push the machine to it's limits. So little of that . You will get better color theory in C3 either way but it's much less noticeable.
The original music relied on the Playstation 1's SHP sound chip library's. Hand more reverberation. The remake sounds like music from a made up TV show. Probably no Mark Mothersburgh.
The AI of the enemies are slightly slower.
My friend wanted a rotatable camera and C2 move set in C1.
But what does Gamespot like more?
