convince me...

1. psp can play games(obviously..) videos(mp4), music(mp3 and Wma), built-in internet wireless connection, skype, radio, chat(gomessanger) etc.
2. Great games like Patapon, GOW, FFCC, Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid PO, Locoroco, etc. and more coming
3. tons of features in one, and it's portable
4. load times aren't slow, like how DS fanboys say it is.
5. still has at least 10 years of living, according to a psp executive
6. makes you look cool, lol
7. has kid games and teen games and stuff for business people
8. romote play w/ ps3
9. uses memory cards, so if your game breaks data isn't lost, and it can be used for other things other than psp.
10. It has graphics of a ps1 - ps2 and sometimes better

I will admit that there are a limited supply of good games on the PSP and they don't come around often sadly.

But...There is still a wide variety of titles, the Compilation games are good and so are some of the Shooters and Racers.

The platformers are not doing well at the moment but we all hope that another game as good as Daxter will pop up soon.

The movie software lets you put your favourite movies and shows on the Memory Stick (make sure its a big one).

You can store music, photos and other data on the PSP as well as browse the internet.

Heres a small list of good games:

Daxter (great platformer), Gun Showdown (fun, fast-paced shooter), Burnout Legends (awesome racer), Liberty City Stories (better than VCS), Lemmings (need I say more) and Mega Man Powered Up to name a few.

But don't let me decide for you, see if anyone you know would let you borrow theirs or somehing, to see if its got what you want.

FF7 is all you need. Than there's God of War is you like that kinda game. Good games only for PSP. That's why I bought it so I don't miss some of these good games.

I dont believe that they are wanting other people to buy stuff for them. Some people just want to know about the experience of others so that they can get the best bang for their buck and still have an over all satisfying gaming experience. I think people complaining about someone asking for honest opinions is petty.

Some people just want to know about the experience of others so that they can get the best bang for their buck and still have an over all satisfying gaming experience. I think people complaining about someone asking for honest opinions is petty.

I second that! If forums are not for sharing opinions then what are they for? It seems to me that some people are so sure of themselves they don't require advice or conversation. The only use a forum has for them is to flame more sociable individuals who both value and respect other peoples opinions. For the record i was enjoying this thread 'til the pair of tosspots showed up and gave it their anal stamp of dissapproval. GuitarPAaron and Halleluja sod off you gimps!!!
