Igot a new Sony Vaio laptop and on the side it had a HDMI port and a sticker next to it saying " Full 1080p " Does that mean I can connect my PS3 to the laptop with an HDMI cable?

I think it means you can connect it to a TV or a projector and have 1080p picture.

As an output, not input.

^^^^^ The man speaks the truth. attempting to connect your ps3 to your laptop would be the same as connection your dvd player to another dvd player (aka two output devices).

You have to take the hdmi port out of the laptop and turn it around and then it will work fine.........

If you have hdmi-out you " can't " connect your ps3 to that port, but with a hdmi-in you can. But almost no laptop has that option, I havent seen any.
