Can someone help me out with a question about the PS3?

I'm not a troll or anything like that. I just want to ask like 2 question's about the PS3 and Sony. Now i was talking to my friend and i told him i got the PS3 Slim at gamestop. And he said that Sony is going to make another system in like 2 years. Can someone tell me is this true or not? And also is Sony to make more games for the PS3? My friend said due to tough times Sony might not make games anymore or put all the games into there next PlayStation. I know these are some dumb question's but i want to prove my friend wrong and kick his @ss.

I'd say at least another 5 years before PS4. It's funny to even say PS4 right now, PS3 is only just picking up steam. And the Xbox is a broken piece of hardware.

who needs enemies when you havin friends like that, no sony will not stop making ps3 games they are puttin everything in the ps3 to make it number 1 if anythin you will see a rise in exclusive games and 3rd party games for the next 5-6 years on ps3 maybe longer, just look at ps2,

dont buy an xbox it will break within the 1st 6months
