I always thought they could but I just read that they cannot. Is that true?

I've had a ps3 since release and in all that time i have never heard of linking two systems together. If you've read you cannot do this, then it must be true.

Nop you can't.

What Sony wanted to do was 2 HDMI ports to connect 2 TVs so you could play split screen with a big screen just for you.

^ 3 PS3's in a LAN system link, playing Baja on 3 TV's, for a 180deg wrap-around view.

P.s. I hade douches who make blanket statements based on nothing.
