I am a big fan of Call of Duty 4. Since I don't care for Resistance 2 online, I need a new multiplayer FPS. Is there enough of a difference from COD4 for me to get it? How are the weapons and maps?
i don't own it but from everything i've read and seen.. (and played a bit) it basically just COD4 again with a new coat of paint and a little more gore.
it depends, are you looking to fully "convert," from 4 to 5? If so, stick with 4. But if you want a new campaign to play through, go with 5. I think in the beginning people will jump on 5, but will eventually go back to 4 for the online portion.
Go buy CoD:WaW, it is definitely worth the 60 bucks. I think the game is better than Cod4 in every aspect of the game. I like the WWII scene. I didn't care much for the guns in Cod4, and I think the guns in Cod:WaW are excellent. Don't belive these dumb fanboys who think CoD4 is the greatest game ever. It isn't. The story sucked.... the missions sucked and were no fun. Thes missions in WaW are fun and never get old. The online is much better also.
its tough man the feeling I got from playing COD WAW was that this is COD 4 but with a WWII mod and went back to playing COD 4 but the single player is good
If you still have COD4, I'd just keep that instead. WAW is a good game, but when I finished it, I didn't have the urge to replay it straight away like I did with COD4. However, I'm not much of an online gamer, so I can't comment about it online.
