Call Of Duty 5 - First Gameplay Screenshot - Is It Real?

Ok guys, I came across this picture while browsing another forum and supposedly, it is the first screenshot of Call Of Duty 5.

If it's real, it looks like Call Of Duty 5 is going back to a World War 2 setting, which wouldn't surprise me seeing as Treyarch are making it.

It may be, but that REALLY looks like an updated (graphics wise) version of a level I remember playing during either COD2 Big Red One or COD3 (can't remember which) on PS2. It may be real, but I'm gonna say it may also be fake.

That is clearly COD3.....Unless COD5 has the exact HUD..........

Mind you, this is Treyarch were talking about here......i would not put it past them to Cut Corners to save cash, as the only reason there incompetent team is making 5 is because they Contractually Obligated to by Actvision Blizzard. Thank god Infinity Ward is talking exclusive control of the series starting with 6 next year.

False. Treyarch is taking the Call of Duty franchise back to the WWII era. Should be interesting, and that is Call of Duty 3 up there.

What the hell are you talking about? Cod5 is not going to be modern warfare it is set in world war 2 and is being developed by treyarch not infinity ward.

it may be 5 it may be 3 maybe 2 who cares? all the same lame ww2 shooters that have been getting old for 20 years now are still the same game over and over and over just lil tweaks with graphics. thank god I W is taking it over with 6.so this year we get nothing from cod except more of the same worn out gameplay until next year when IW gets back the reigns and actually give us something worth playing.sniperrecon777

they all have the same "lame" gameplay CoD2, CoD3, CoD4... linear levels with endless respawning enemies until you cross an invisible checkpoint the only difference is the setting... the best part of the CoD series is the online and thats the only mode worth playing.

Thats an old cod(i think), activision have already stated COD5 will be in a modern setting.

Too me that looks like 2 pictures merged together, using footage from a cgi trailer in the background and the hud and gun from cod3 proper.

Like i said Acti-blizz have already said cod5 will be in a modern setting, there was news on game article on it saying cod5 invading new theater.

You can't say treyarch is incompetent, cod3 was a good fps its just hard to match infinity ward and their cod games.
