oh yeah and none of those taking turn rpg's like eterna sotra or whatever its called. i mean like kingdom hearts were it's completely under your control. Not giving a command to the character and he/she does something.

Maybe they just don't like turn-based... Then they don't like RPGs... they like action games.. because no real RPG is button mashing.. KH was an anomaly, it was a kiddy action game that was labeled as an RPG..

I went in expecting an RPG.. i was sadly disappointed... its a hack/slash basically.. awkward yet simple,.. meaning the combat was really simple yet the couldn't get the most basic actions to work well.. i mean it controlled like an RPG where you only run around and talk to people, and you were supposed to battle like that!?

Tales of the Abyss for the ps2 is probably the best choice if you are limited on the ps3, but if you got a 360 I must agree Tales of Vesperia fits the description for the game you are looking for.
wow thanks for all the posts. helped a lot, and yeah, i guess it is action RPG that i like. i just dont want to get a game for my 360 cause i could barely play it for 1 hr without worrying about it overheating lol.

exactly about KH.. although Fallout 3 i would say is a shooter with RPG elements.Same thing... no.. because RPG with shooter aspects would mean that RPG is the base concept of the game... which in Fallout 3 is not correct.
You're looking for Action RPGs as opposed to Turn Based RPGs.

White Knight is gonna be like that? Sign me up! I'm pretty sure WKC is something more on the lines of having an active time battle system. something more on the lines of what you would find in an MMORPG which will probably fit in well with its online component. ofcourse level-5 hasn't given us much info, but thats what it looks like to me from the videos.

I love JRPGs but I hate turn-based. It's boring. You just tell the characters what to do then watch them perform it. When I play videogames, I want a quick reaction from the character on every button I press. :D
