I finally took the plunge and bought a PS3 at wal-mart. Just a few days after they droped the price of the 80 gig motorstorm bundle to 500 dollars I went ahead and purchased it. Thus i'm finally back in the game after a few years without a PS2.

Anyway I have a few questions that are as follows:

Whats the best bluetooth headset to buy for use with the PS3, is a more expensive unit really worth the additional cost or can I go with something a little cheaper and still get good performance. I hear the headset packaged with Warhawk tends to be choppy at times and I would like to avoid this. I know of atleast one popular thread that lists headsets and how well they work but I would like more clear answers then that thread provides (its kind of gone off topic.)

So whats the best headset for PS3? And how many games (roughly) actually support headset communications?

Unreal Tournament 3 or Call of Duty 4?

Not that I plan to but if I were to upgrade the 80 gig HDD in my system how easy is it to reinstall the PS3 OS on the new drive? And can you actually backup and or transfer your old data to your new hard disk in some way?

I also plan to update my whole entertainment center with a new 1080P HDTV at some point in the near future which is a nice one to get in the 1,100 to 1,500 price range?

Is wireless internet connectivity worth it, currently my netowork is wired and to change everything over will get costly so is it really worth it to do this?

Thats about it off the top of my head, its been a long time since I posted and i'm glad to be back I look forward to plenty of interesting discussions with all of you.

WOW. IDK about most of that stuff, but I can help you with some. Get BOTH COD4 and UT3. If you had to pick, you can't go wrong. HDTVss. just go to SEARS or CIRCUIT CITY because they have a good selection and look at the TVs they have there. They have a ton on display, so you can decide what size you want, what resolution, what brand, etc. One thing, GET PLASMA. make sure that if you live at high altitude the TV is rated to that altitude. As far as I know all or almost all games support headset communication (AH, the PS3.) That's about all I can help you with. Srry.

installing the OS on a new drive is very easy. I messed around with it the other day just to see what happens. Get an external drive to to back up your system as well at least twice a month.
