Batman delayed..anything coming out this yr?

Damn.I know watch dogs ubisoft is jumping for joy there is no competition. So now drive club is looking like the game to get for sure and Sherlock Holmes if that isn't delayed also.

thought ps4 was easy to work with and there games have been in production for 3-5 yrs. Yes I like delayed games if it improves the game but damn I was hoping this wouldn't delay without multiplayer.

I'm more tired of reading "if it means a more polished game blah blah blah . . ." then hearing about the delays. People can fool themselves into delays being a positive thing all they want, but to me, THEY JUST PLAIN SUCK! Kind of sad that we just shrug our shoulders and consider it the norm now. Any other branch of the entertainment industry would cripple themselves with this many delays. These publishers/developers need to stop manipulating the gaming press into keeping their products in the news via bogus release dates knowing full well that they'll never deliver on said date. It's reached an epidemic/despicable low.

Well I love sports games, SOOOO I'm looking forward to UFC, NHL, Madden. Battlefield Hardline looks awesome, and the new COD looks good too. Theres also dragon age inquisition. Not much exclusive-wise but at least we get the best versions of multi plats.

Comment on guy can't wait for Madden. I tried Madden last yr on ps4 and it played better but sucky graphics. Now this yr Madden graphics will finally look sort of like next gen. Madden is mediocrity to the fullest and until there is competition it will be minute, incremental steps every yr. I tried Ips4 Madden last after yrs of not buying it and still lazy complacent EA sports. What comes around goes around. Madden will eventually lose tons of money even w/o competition and EA in general losing money with shutting down ncaa franchise and losing law suit.

I will pass this yr if it's the same ole bleep. I returned Madden last yr and it was free with buy 2 get one free from target. Ufc could be a great game. I will find out tonight with demo of ufc.

Even through Arkham Night was my top game for 2014, I had a feeling that this was gonna happen. Well, no excuse not to catch up on my PS3 and 360 backlog now!!

@cooolio: I hear ya but not hyped over call of duty anymore. I didn't even play the last one. Every yr I get on board the hype train and the game is butt .The last good call of duty was yr before last and the modern warfare series. This one looks untriquing but so did watch dog.

Tried the full game of assassin creed last yr instead of demos and the game got old quick and evil within is on my radar. It didn't do well with game editors playing the game it didn't go well. Now maybe evil within will Blvd tweeted and the game will be great. I saw the latest trailer and the graphics look alot better. Do let's hope that it returns to RE 2 form which is my favorite resident evil besides the co op ones that came out.

Hmmm, well I have never bought a COD game simply because of the fact that my internet is crap and the single player experience are not long enough and do not have enough replay value to justify buying one, at least for me. The only reason that I am interested in this one is because they seem to be giving the player more tactical freedom in it. The points and upgrade system they talked about for single player also makes me think that.

As for The Evil Within, I am very excited for it. I have only played 2 resident evil games, 4 and zero. I did not even bother with 5 and the demo for 6 just disgusted me. I would say that I am hoping for a great Survival horror experience that has over the shoulder aiming. I think that the closest I got to that was TLOU. The Evil Within amazes ME simply because of the little things it has, such as hiding under beds and in closets and what not. I have always wondered why RE never had stealth in it. I just like choice in how I play, and The Evil Within has that.

Anyway, just try to somehow rent whatever you are not sure about. I am not sure if you have tried gamefly or how the experience was if you did, I would say that this will be a great year to try it out due to the fact that all of the multiplats are releasing close together. For example, Evolve, Dragon Age Inquisition and The Evil Within will all be released in October. You will just have to be patient.

One more thing, while you may not be interested in Destiny I think that it would be a good idea to preorder just so you can get in on the beta. That way you will have something new to play and you may even like it.

@cooolio: I must confess that watch dog is slightly growing on me since nothing else out plus action picking up but still may just return use copy. Yeah I played every Resident evil on PlayStation and I prefer the slow horror claustrophobic type not RE 6

How about Murdered: Soul Suspect? I haven't seen a lot of coverage on the game in the gaming media, but after watching some gameplay videos it looks to me like it's worth trying.

@lensflare15: have you read the reviews and seen the scores to murder soul suspect? It's not good and barely had coverage prior to release. Wolvestien barely had coverage but had good reviews, so not always coverage indicate quality of game.

Like I've said over at the IGN forums, it isn't the fact the game is delayed what is peeing me off, it's the fact all these companies are giving dates what they cannot achieve instead of saying a more vague prediction, I'd of rather them said ok were aiming for the end of the year but we'll see, not it will be out october 2014 be ready and then go o sorry it will be 2015. I'm hoping there is a ton of stuff at E3 coming 2014 but I mean for me UFC is nearly here, Fifa 15 is coming Pro Evo in the fox engine for next gen is coming this year, F1 may show up, DriveClub is coming, Even if you don't like AC it's coming anyway, Destiny looks interesting i'm not a fan of FPS games but I watched a video which showed more to it than just a fps exploration is a big part of that game to, but will see not long now till E3 cannot wait.

Yes, I've seen some of the review scores since I posted that comment (I had read two before hand that weren't too overly negative). It's disappointing to me, because the game had a lot of potential for a new IP. However, while it may not be worth the full price, I wouldn't mind buying the game sometime further down the road, because it still looked like it wasn't as bad as some of the reviewers were making it out to be when I viewed a number of gameplay videos.

@bezza2011: I cant wait just so see more of phantom pain and I read it's in game videos. I hope the game comes out early next yr. I always get excited for e3 and hope a great game is announced for this yr as a surprised.

@ewalthour: Man, Phantom Pain is day one, and that is the first game that I have said that about. Hell, it is the first game that I will be buying day one will 100% certainty that it will be awesome as s***. And i hope we see some cool new ips 2.

@cooolio: @ewalthour: Agreed Phantom Pain is probably the best game I've seen footage of for next gen I mean if ground zeroes is anything to go by then we are in for a right treat , I hope it does come early next year but my feelings are that it will be end of next year early 2016 maybe they said themselves it may take awhile.

@The_Last_Ride: drive club I will get with my Psn(at least one map and the cars until I decide to buy it). Evolve seems cool but not sure and the rest not interested.

I am thinking about keeping my used watch dog because it seems to be getting better.

@cooolio: Me to but Hideo himself came out and said listen were putting out ground zeroes because phantam pain is a long way off, but I mean what does long way off mean, I mean he must think it's long enough to warrant a pro-logue/demo game to surpport them while they make the proper game.

@The_Last_Ride: I look at the Psn version as a demo for drive club. If I like it then I buy the full version.

@bezza2011: sorry I flagged you by mistake. I was trying to post but flag seem to be there and wouldn't allow me to post. We all know ground zero was a great demo but what sold me was the learning curve and the more I played the more I wanted to play. It was worth the money just because it is a sand box and so many ways to play with great gameplay. So with a full story and online its ridiculous how much long term value the games has.

finally feel in mgmgs series not to have my arms tied and can stealth and run and gun. I still prefer stealth but it's lovely to have that option. Also now I don't have love the game only for boss fights and cutscenes.

You can still get all the trophies without the full version though. It's a stripped down version not a demo

Well it means you have access to the whole game, just not all the cars

for sure Diablo 3 has been pushed back because the game came from PS4 exclusive to PS4 + XBOXONE and the date was pushed back only to have the game released the same date on PS4 and X1 ...

for most others some financial specialists (morons paid for nothing) decide which is the best date to release a game and maximise sales, just remember Watch dogs was scheduled to release in november at the PS4 launch ... But Assassin's creed 4 released then so UBIsoft would split the sales between 2 games so it was better to release it at a later time (and don't tell me it was to optimize the game, there's collision bugs all around, lots of movements are impossible for no reason ... PC players can't even launch the game because of Uplay connexion)

The new COD and Far Cry 4 are coming out this year.

@TheTenth10: amen...everyone believe that watchdog was barely optmimized during that 6 month delay. Man that game had so many justified conspiracy issues with public opinion and watchdog trying to weasel their way out with various excuses for the delay. I can't think of another game in recent history where it felt big companies screwed us. I can clearly see drive club has majorly improved from last e3 2013. There were clearly internal differences with the director getting fired etc. Drive Club, from gamers playing it,didn't get a good impression e3 2013..So the delay made a huge difference. Now drive club maybe the best driving game this yr.

I've playered watch dog and I cant tell how many times the game look great one min then old gen the next.
