I just played a PS3 today and I kept slipping off the letf trigger, I found that on CoD trying to aim whilst placing your thumb on the left analogue stick was very awkward, the controller is poo.

Maybe, but if there were some sort of grip, it would not have beena problem.

Oh and by the way, this isn't in comparison to the Xbox controller, i'm not starting a war all i'm saying is the ps3 controller alone isn't very good.

i only find the triggers difficult playing GH (my guitar has died on me, so ive resorted to playing it with the sixaxis). But other then that the design is fine for me... maybe you should just spend more time with the controller to get used to it.

Sounds like the controlelr you were playing on was broken, there's a pretty grippy rubber top to the sticks, stops you slipping off.

The Sixaxis controller has been a very good controller because it didn't make any layout changes of the previous controller.

As an owner of all three consoles, I find the PS3's SixAxis controller to be the most comfortable for me. Yes, even for shooters.

Same thing happenes to me with COD4. most likley your controller is a clear black AKA the first ones sony built. those controllers are such bad quality. same thing happened to me and my buddies. in COD4 i would start sprinting and my guy would automaticly turn to the left and go in circles..
