Assassin's Creed is scaring me

This game as much as its fun and all but it makes me think it will assassinate my PS3 everytime it freezes and quit game(sometimes you can't restart at all when it freezes) my PS3 turns off and then back on.

I feel like this game is made to assassinate the console.

So does freezing effect the PS3?

And yes I created a topic like this before but nobody responded.....well some did but they answer anything.

dude mine froze like 3 times and i turn the console on and off and nothing bad happen

at first i was afraid but then i said screw it so i turn it off and it still was running perfectly

if your not sure go return your game and get your money back

I agree, it sucks. I really don't know what in God's name they were thinking releasing the game in it's current state. It is nowhere near finished. They could have released it before summer and had it be an amazing 10/10 game that is everything I'd hoped for. It could have been the new GTA. I think they royally ****ed up.

I still love the game though, so that goes to show you how much fun it can be. Half of me LOVES it and half of me is shaking my head slowly over it's failure.

If this gets to be a big enought problem then Sony should come out with an update that will make it less likely to freeze. I have heard about this. At least it won't hurt your PS3 unless it's acessing your HDD. I remember my PS2 used to freeze, but it never did anything to my memory. I would actually expect hearing about a patch or something for Assassin's Creed sometime wouldn't you?SamuriChamploo

Its not the system its the game. Both the 360 and PS3 version have almost the same glitches and freezing problems. Right now, there is an exclusive glitch for the 360 version which is called the Kage-Bunshin-noJutsu, or Shadow Clones (ripped from the Naruto series manga) in which you start seing a second Altaïr on the screen that moves ass you command and can hurt you :D.

This issue should be addressed by Ubisoft for both consoles to fix that. But this kind of issues are common in sandbox games anyway.
