Article on why Bloodborne's latest patch destroys the game

I thought this was the best article on the topic on the latest 1.04 patch for Bloodborne (sorry can't figure how to make it clickable):

This is basically how I feel about it except better articulated. What do you guys think?

Haven't played the game yet, so I'll never know. But to make a link clickable you select the "link" button at the top of the comment entry window, click "To a URL" in the pop-up window, and in the top entry bar type the text you want to display as clickable, and in the bottom entry bar paste the link you want to direct to. @yuriawitch: Seems like more whining from elitist asshats who think they have a right to tell other people how to play a game. Hardcore Souls fans really are, by and large, some of the most obnoxious people on the planet. Article writer needs to get more sun.

Just more whining because your trophies are easy to get.

I've seen this article posted here and on Giant Bomb, both by new accounts, both using the same terminology...

That being said, the article could not be more wrong.

Then play offline with no update. Simple fix

I think players should be punished to a certain extent for summoning co-op partners. Either have a very limited currency to spend or make it cost lots of souls.

This game is already a watered down version of what once was. The patch is just further conformation. Right off the bat I felt like this game was designed with a huge emphasis on widening the audience, and now you can see what that produces. And the worst part is that its still the best game to come out on PS4! (I haven't played the witcher yet so I don't know)

What they added was an improvement for me. Fixing the bullshit coop was a step towards a more entertaining game if you want to play with friends. I give no shit that they allow us to bring higher level players in if we want, you have the choice to not do it if you're not into it so there you go.
