Army of Two game freeze

Anyone out there having an issue with Army of Two freezing, mid game? I mean, to the point where you can't even exit the screen by holding the PS button on the controller? Its happened three times to me. Every time, the sound still works but the action is totally halted and I have to turn the system off by holding the power button on the system down.

Something like this happened with the 360 version that I own

it happened to me once so far on the 2nd level where u have to parachite in. i heard the sound and it was playing but the screen was black.

do these happen often? hope they dont

It happened to me a few times, but then someone on another board suggested switching off the auto sign-in to the EA servers option and I did that and no problems at all now. Try that see if it helps.ag_8

I just rented the game on Friday. And while playing it Friday, it did happen to me twice.

I am PISSED now. Happened AGAIN. It's fun to play and all, but if it happens any more, that thing is going back to the store.

Bottom of the ninth, two strikes, two outs, EA....

It happened to me three times so far, each time just after selecting "Public Co-Op". Though I've never been able to not push the PS button to exit.

Something's up with your hardware for sure.

You may be right. Although, I never have any problems with any other games. odd, right?

And, FWIW, I finally started playing in Co-op mode, and it's working flawlessly. So, just for the record, I have only had problems in Single player campaign mode...

The tutorial actually tells the correct button to press, but it's quite confusing as they actually illustrate what the button looks like. On the Sixaxis/ Dualshock controller, the D-pad has the "arrow heads" poing towards the center, with the block end pointing outward. when illustrated seperately, it looks as if the "up" pad is pointing down, and the "right" pad is pointing left.

It took me a few minutes to figure it out...

I just bought my PS3 off ebay, and the game froze (music plays, but frozen screen and inactive controller) at the exact same spot as happened to you (on the first level, just after you see the guy with the golden AK). I was wondering, was it a hardware problem in the end? Did you experience freezes with your pS3 when playing other games? I had to do a hard turn off of my PS3 (controller didnt work). When i rebooted, and replayed the level, it didtn freeze a second time.

I had it freeze on me but nothing like u TC. The game is glitchy any way. Not EAs quality type games.
