Are you still excited about GTA4?

Ill still get it on day 1 but im extremely ****** that there is only one city. I loved the variety in san andreas and driving around in the country from place to place and stumbling across little hick towns. Plus the change of scenery from one main city to the next. The fact that there are no planes only makes it worse.

I'll sayit again, the game is called Grand Theft Auto, not Grand Theft Aero. Sure planes created realism and what not but there's not much point i guess. they should include helicopters though. however dont you think that rockstar would be in deep doo doo if they included planes and some insane parent sues them when she sees her child crashing planes into buildings. just a thought.Takiwara

None of your info is necessarily true whatsoever. Stop with the sky is falling stuff and just wait until some real info is released.

I've read all kinds of stuff in Game Informer that didn't turn out to be true. This is my point. You don't KNOW anything until the game rolls out. Stop speculating and calling it fact.

Anyway, what I gathered from that article is that a "leaked scan" of a Game Informer issue told them that the new game would imitate NY, not "clone" it, nor is it called New York. It will be similar to NY in that it will have several boroughs and almost no open space, but it doesn't say they are directly recreating it, a la True Crime. Being based on something and directly "cloning" it are two completely different things.

W8. Is that the official word? No planes? And it's smaller than SA? Nope im not getting it. This is the next gen of gaming. I believed it's gonna be like oblivion. Huge map  and filled with things to do.
