Despite the outcry by everyone here with the ps3 error problem, I thought I could lighten the mood up by talking about something different. I didn't realize that MLB 10: The Show would be coming out on Tuesday. I just wanted to see how many of you are interested in this game and if you are picking it up or not. I haven't played the game since MLB 08: The Show and I loved it but I figured it was time to get the newest version of the game.

Uhh... who's brett? There's really nothing I want except for gow3 in march. This game should bind a lot of my time for a while.
Yup I am going tomorrow to pick it up as my brothers birthday gift. But I love to play it too :P

Don't they start selling the game on the 2nd? I tried calling stores around here but they won't release to the 2nd. Tomorrow is the 2nd... Dur... I was thinking it was still the 28th. My bad.

Well... I just got 09 for Christmas, so it's unlikely I'll get 10 soon. I liked 09a lot, but I usually don't stick with sports games for long. I do love baseball, so there is a possibility I may buy this. (Or somebody gets me it next Christmas/Birthday because they know I love baseball)

As far as The Show '10. I can't decide. I loved '08...didn't get around to '09...and I'm not even a fan of baseball (I firmly believe it is better as video game than an actual sport worth my attention...I call baseball Tylenol PM). Anyway, I loved '08. What are some of the new features that will ensure my wallet opens for this years edition?

If you do decide to buy a baseball game, make sure its this one because we all know that 2k isn't that very good compared to mlb 10: the show.

Oh, I'm fully aware. My last baseball game was The Show 06 I think for the PSP. That game was hella awesome, so I can only imagine how much better the console version will be after 4 years of improvements.

The ps3 version is far better than the psp games. I played 06 on the psp all the time until I bought 08 on the ps3 and played that for the longest time. Now 10 looks like its gonna grab my attention for a long time too.
as some point yes because $60 for the same game since 07(PS2 my 1st entry) is dumb. and no i dont care RTTS mode. i will try the catcher thing but come on. HR derby isnt new
Me too. There needs to be a deal. I'm thinking I'll be waiting more than 2 weeks though. Maybe two months. I guess my "target price" is $39.99. Hopefully as the real MLB season gets close they will put it on sale.
There wasn't even a $10 credit for pre-ordering which seems to on the majority of pre-orders now. Heavy Rain and MLB: The Show are two I'm surprised didn't have a deal even on the pre-orders.
as much as i want to,i'm probably not goin to this year. im a big fan of seeing young players in the game, and i know strausburg isn't going to be in this game. hopefully he can pitch at least one game this season, so he will be in mlb 11 roster
I'm hoping the game sees a mini sale in the upcoming days. I'd be all over it if it somehow saw a 50 dollar price tag on Amazon. If not I'll just wait patiently.
I placed my order on Amazon today. I have Amazon Prime and got the free 2-day shipping, but it says estimated delivery is March 5th.The math makes no sense, but I will have it by Friday.
Maybe, but not first day seeing as though I'm spending 60 bucks on Bad Company 2 and plan on playing that game for quiet a while. I have all the MLB's since 05 and the Franchise Mode is extremely immense and addicting. So i'm likely to buy this in a few months after it's release, maybe when I see a 40$ price tag on it.
