It sorta looks like a downgrade, but since I'm a fan of the series, I'll continue to buy it just because of the action. Plus I heard you can turn off the QTE sequences so that's a plus for me to buy it.

Ill b picking up my collectors edition on tuesdayf8101Awesome. I think it's the one with the sword accessory for PS Move. Looks crazy, but I can see some benefits with it.
I haven't seen much about it. Nor have I played any since NG on the xbox. But I have plans to pick up the others and the third, just working my way through my backlog at present. I have heard there is no dismemberment, which is no fun at all. What's the point in wielding a katana if you can't thoroughly enjoy yourself?
I'm not especially excited for it, but the departure of Itagaki has me intensely curious about the final product's outcome (the same way I'm typically not happy but always curious when one of my favorite bands replaces the lead singer), and I really can't wait to see what the reviews have to say about the game.
[QUOTE="Tikeio"]Why would that be?Hell no. The game looks like trash.

Because the game looks like trash. There's no need to elaborate when you clearly disagree with my opinion by asking such a question.
I lol'ed when IGN gave it a 3/10. NG3 will hit the $20 bargain bin in 2 months tops. Quote me on that.
I really enjoyed the second one but I'm not at all excited about this new one. I don't know if they're doing a really bad job of promoting it or if it's just an uninteresting game, but all the footage I've seen so far leaves me completely unimpressed.
Edit: Just read IGN's review, a 3/10 lol. Yeah, think I'll pass.
I want to pick it up but Ive got this sort of affection for the Sigma games. I'm gonna hold off hoping for S3.
Don't hold off for another Sigma game. The Sigma games were simply Sony's to the Xbox originals, basically repolished games. This will most likely be the only Ninja Gaiden 3 that appears on the PS3.
I'm excited but hoping it plays more like Sigma I than Sigma II. Sigma I was great in terms of difficult and challenging combat mixed with very good puzzle and exploration elements, Sigma II was a simple button mashing beat-em-up, with too much House/electronica music that totally lost all the soul, challenge and intelligenceof the first game. I especially knew this when my 5 year old little cousin picked up the game for a few minutes and basically went through about 2 or 3 different sections successfully beating each horde of enemies on the FIRST try!NO WAY would he have ever been able to do that with Sigma I. I'm hoping Gaiden 3 will fix that.
Plus I'm very happy to have the blood back... Sigma II totally bombed being completely bloodless, unlike its much better Xbox counterpart.
You know the more I think about it, the more I might just wait for a price drop. If the game has no challenge to it and you can't pick and play with another weapon, then it isn't worth $60 imo.I really enjoyed the second one but I'm not at all excited about this new one. Agreed, it doesn't look like the gore is going to be nearly as extensive of that found in the first two games. Truely sad :(
[QUOTE="Bigboi500"]What's funny is that IGN use to praise this game last year saying it looks completely original, now they gave it a 3/10. I've seen gameplay vids on Youtube and the A.I looks retarded by just standing there and not moving worth a damn waiting for you to kill them. Maybe in the full retail game, they will probably be fixed since all I've seen was from the demo at E3 last year. thats a problem when companies get a early to mid development of a game and when it comes out it ends up not as good as they were hoping for, theres a lot of times i'll see a game win " best of e3" and then when the game comes out the same people give it a lower score then they expectedReviews are coming out and it appears to be complete garbage.
