Anyone but me want a PROPER sniper game?

wouldnt it be great?

BF 2 sized maps with plenty of sniper positions, Mirrors for looking round corners, watermelons with helmets attached to a stick, Ghillie suit that ACTUALLY make a difference, claymores etc....

meh...if well done could be interesting. But since a Sniper needs to camp...could you imagine a game revolving around camping?rogerjak

of cause camping search and kill is alot of fun, i have played games like that before, its alot intense than u think and that is the true point of tactical shooter!

There was Sniper Elite from a few years ago. It was on PS2 and Xbox.zombie91

That game goes for full price on ebay now since it's so hard to find.

im up there with you, but there would have to be alot of different missions, in order keep the game intresting, 10 sniping missions wont do it.

Games that come close to a good sniping game, is far cry 2, and cod4s sniping is good i feel

To those who say it's just camping, it's not. You don't know anything about sniping if you think it's just a camp fest. An all Sniper game, forces you to be more tactical and stealthy. I've hosted many Sniper Only matches across various games through out the years. Believe me, it was not a "camp fest" because the people that did camp the whole round were the ones that died first and quickly. Rushing in "guns blazing" Rambo style doesn't require much skill at all. Snipers usually get one shot only (unless the target is really stupid, then you're forgiven for your botched shot lol)

True, but it works in certain situations.

Like, in team death match, camping is stupid.

But when you have to defend an objective, then really camping is the best way to go.
