Another PS3 Exclusive Coming from FromSoftware?

Namco Bandai and FromSoftware have recently updated the website for theirlatest game, Another Century's Episode: R. They've added a new CGI trailer for the mech game, which you can watch below.

The game, which is very unlikely to come out of Japan, features a mechs from a variety of anime series, including the various Gundams, Macross, and Code Geass.

It also looks like this will be yet another PS3 exclusive, as the website only shows the logo for PlayStation and mentions only the PS3, with a vague release date of 2010.

i'm not into mechs games a lot, but my friend is gundam freak, i can't wait to tell him, he will freak out :lol:

looks interesting, although I prefer medieval games (demons souls, 3D dot game heroes), I would def check this out if it comes to NA.

The video reminds me of the big robot fights in Goemon 64 :P.

i hope they do it well... very well... and i hope there's an english version...

the beginning of the trailer just reminds me of the intro to demons souls. only instead of a monster holding a corpse flying by, a mech does

This is absolutely my dream game. Not only is it being made collaboratively by freaking From Software (Armored Core, Demon's Souls, 3D Dot Game Heroes) and Namco Bandai (ACE COMBAT MOTHA ****ERRR!"), but it features mechs. Mechs being my absolute favorite things in the world, they made them ANIME mechs. Freaking Gundam, Code Geass, Macross, Full Metal Panic, etc, etc. Oh God, I'm pissing myself. In any other situation, I would have seen this as an auto-fail since most games centered around using licenses from various franchises tend to do absolutely crap-like, but this is being made from some of the best mech and arcade plane game developers in the WORLD. Amazing developers with great track records? Check. Mechs? Check. Badass mechs from my favorite franchises? Check. Holy crap, if this doesn't get localized. then it'll be my first imported game.hazelnutman

I feel ya, man. I haven't sat down and watched Macross or Full Metal Panic yet, but just seeing the Lancelot in there has got me pretty damned excited. TheEldestGod
