Imagine this, you get to the Grainyard Gas station and see mob members ready to block you up ahead (similar to the E3 trailer in 06'). Soon after, a shootout commences and you run into a diner window (everything in the environment can be initialized including doors, etc.). As you crash through, you are given an IMMEDIATE short snap of what appears to be CG. The genius is you can't tell that it's CG because the action is severely intense and manages to blend in well with the short sequences. The seamless transition between the two concepts of gameplay is brilliant and there are no load times. In terms to how it compares back to the E3 06' trailer, the only things one can express is no shock. The gameplay and sheer real time visuals and methods used to render the games assets far surpass the E3 06' trailer. As for anyone wanting to know the release of the game, it is scheduled for October 2008, but most likely will be delayed to Spring of 2009.

if there has been any coverage of the game its been mostly rumors was cancled

i cant imagine how much more they could have improved on that in 2 years, its almost scary

Just because this is an ongoing trend in the video games industry. I don't have actual statistics, but most games never make the first announced release date. I'm just happy this game is not cancelled.

Did anybody read the article!!!!! "the scret game is called Tears of Blood game the BBC reporter saw. (Oh, by the way, the game the BBC reporter saw was the new Magna Carta game 'Tears of Blood'.)

So far this all HYPE. I wan't to see some real gameplay footage first.

Sony could show some awesome stuff at GDC, like 8 days, but they strategically didn't.

I also believe that the car-shooting demo from GDC '06 was from 8 days.

If you read the article the pics that where on the page are old from 2006. What they saw was a major upgrade.

Show me a link, because the only video they showed was a target-render.

I always thought this game looked interesting since the E3 trailer, and glad to see it's not vaporware.

I will say I would have to see new pics of the game to determine if it looks as good as KZ2, because the E3 trailer of 8 days was only impressive in the action, as the graphics weren't amazing then, and they sure aren't now. I realize the article says the graphics have been vastly improved, so I will have to wait and make my own judgement.

The only thing I'm not sure of is if this article is even true or not. First off, if they leaked info like this and Sony didn't want them to, they could be in big trouble or at least never be allowed anything by Sony ever again. Second, the guy claims to know what game the BBC reporter was talking about, even though that BBC guy hasn't said anything else about it. First, he claims the game is Tears of Blood, a Magna Carta game, then he releases a new statement changing it saying it was a "new" Tears of Blood game. Anyway, the whole article sounds like something that would be VERY easy to make up, as there is no new information that would lead me to believe the story. I'm not saying I 100% don't believe it, I am just saying I'm very skeptical until someone much more official speaks on both games (8 Days and Tears of Blood).

Again, though, if it IS true the game the BBC guy was talking about it a fighting game called Tears of Blood, and this ps3informer group did sneak someone into Sony, and that person did somehow get a sneak peak at a super secret game, and then blab about it with no regard to Sony's intention to keep it secret. If all that is true, all I have to say is ps3informer deserves whatever happens to them. Anyway, the site is poor anyway, so I will just hope the info is true (about 8 Days, not the BBC game, since I don't want the most impressive ps3 game to be a stupid fighting game).

I also realize I'm being very negative, I guess I have just become somewhat cynical about random sites claiming to know things that are way out of their league to learn, especially since it usually ends up being false information.

I'm all for new IPs and I love the fact that Sony is leading the way. However I still need to see some of the old IPs before I get hyped on anything else thats new and untested. Resistence 2 has established itself, but before we start hyping this 8 Days lets wait and see what it promises first.
