6 million PS3s sold?

I know Sony confirmed that 6 millions units were shipped but when I was on wikipedia a moment ago it claimed 6 million were shipped and sold. I looked at the sources and some claimed 4.48 million, but that's old news, some announced almost 5 million, and some estimate 6 million as of mid-August. Although nothing has been confirmed yet it seems that Sony has quite obviously supplied the market with more consoles with the 80GB release. It would be really cool if PS3 sales are indeed at 6 million! Discuss...

It is said that 11 million ps3 were ship and roughly 5million-6million are sold already. I read this in many articles including some analyzis on the vg charts. So yeah I would say its above 5million but less than 6.fistoflight
