Poll 4K Curved TV or Flat TV for PS4 Pro (12 votes)

Samsung UN49KU7000, Flat $620 83%
Samsung UN49KU7350, Curved $620 0%
Samsung UN49KU7500, Curved little more expensive 17%

Hello folks,

I would like to buy new 4K TV for PS4 Pro gaming, I have some choices at the same price and little higher

Samsung UN49KU7000 Flat or UN49KU7350 Curved ? at same price

Little more expensive UN49KU7500 Curved

So my question is curved TV good for gaming ? Is it worth it to go for UN49KU7500 Curved ?

Thanks

On such a small Tv it really doesn't matter unless you sit very close, so just get whatever you want.

Flat just because it is easier to wall-mount and not looked awkward or bulky

and also slightly cheaper than curved.

I have a 4k OLED flat and I'm loving it.

Of course it depends on how big your room is.

Curved if you plan on sitting rather close, like two metres from the telly. Otherwise flat is better.

-also if you plan on watching movies with friends or suchlike, flat is the best choise as it gives widest viewing angle.

@undefined: honestly, you should see if there is a tcl p607 where you are at. It has great local dimming, wide color gamut, and almost no motion blur. Not to mention you can get a 55" for $599

Curved TV's are a gimmick. Buy a flat TV. They look better mounted or even on the stand. Curved TV's was something new they tried and there are no Benefits as far as picture quality goes just bc the panel is curved.

I went with a flat Vizio P-50 and have been loving it. I didn't see much if any difference in a curved screen.

Vizio P series has an insanely good picture. I wanted one, but was out of my price range.

I prefer a flat TV for the simple reason that I find curved TV's ugly. I know I'm shallow haha.

My Samsung UN65JS9000 is curved, if you sit dead center you can't really tell that it's curved. When I bought it it was Samsung flagship and had 3D still, which I get a lot of use out of.
