3 Months and 3 Days....Thats how long my PS3 lasted

My PS3 won't read any Discs I put in it.

So I rang Sony and they will send me a NEW PS3. (I wish every Customer Service helpline was like these)

I was just expecting my PS3 to fixed.

But I have to wait til after my hoildays to arrange the pick up of my broken PS3. ( 3 days without PS3 :cry: )

Hopefully they will send me one of those 80GB PS3 :P

PS I'm seeing Three 3's......shud I be Worried :?

but yeah, you gotta love sony. they are helping out where it's important (screw the Demos there are more important things out there)

u have never met my 360 he's been kickin it problem free since launch day :D

and my ps3 i've had 4 a month but it is suprisingly awsome i have left it on for the first4 days i had it, i was downloadin alot of content and i love the streaming of media for ps3 betrter than 360. ps3 supports more formats and i love how i have a bluray player now 8)

My 20gb ps3 (that i got for christmas) came without a fan in it. I went away for 3 days and when i came back there was a new one. I have had that and it has worked great ever since, and i swapped in a 160gb HD woot.hmac777

I have a question. If your ps3 break and you get sent a new one do you get to keep your HDD to keep your save data or so you have to send them your HDD when you give them the broken one?Blitz_Nemesis

Well, some guys got the data transfered and others didnt, I guess its based on the problem you have. If you cant boot the PS3, they transfer them if you can, they dont. Just my guess but who actually knows

my ps3 had the same prob with motorstorm, i found out that the installed motorstorm data was just corrupted b/c i loded the disc durin a power surge b4, maybe thats all that ur problem was :P.
