Damn thats slow, mine took bout 5 - 10 mins for the whole download and install.

mine took about 5-6 min

after 50% it will go fast

I just tried to download the update but I keep getting a error message when it is about 2% downloaded. Is anyone else having this problem? Sucks cause I can't get online to the PS Store without this update.JStanley4

You could always go to this link PlayStation.com - PLAYSTATION®3 - Network - Updatesand download it to you pc/thumb drive, then istall it in you PS3. I did this once when my router was acting up.
