What do you prefer: Playstation 1 games or Playstation 2 games?

I ask this question as they both have really good games but if you had to choose a console and its games, which would you choose?

for me i would choose Playstation 1 games as i think these were more challenging and a little more enjoyable!

A lot of PSOne games don't hold up very well. I find that most aren't even fun anymore, with the only exceptions being games that I have a strong sense of nostalgia for.

Twisted Metal 2, MGS, FF7, FF8, FF9, FF Tactics and Chrono Cross are all games that I still love to go back and play.

Unless you show me proof of this, you're just saying that out of your ass. I honestly have yet to see real proof of this bogus claim.

I would choose because PS1 had games that were more dynamic and challenging.  PS2, however has better visuals (of course) and it has a lot of the greatest games of all time.  I seriously can't choose between the two.

Im one of these people that thinks graphics doesnt make a good game. For instance Wild arms has bad graphics but i really enjoyed the game and still play it now.

If a game had a good storyline and good gameplay then i can easily enjoy it even if the graphics suck.

Because the PS1 games was harder,but now the PS2 games are too easy,because that the games are so short

PS2 games are much better

Most PS2 games r really short except the GTA series and PS1 games had some really big titles....Think if you look on Wikipedia you'd find over 100 million units of PS1 were sold and only 24million units of PS2 sold or something like thatobgoblin0

Good grief! Sony has shipped over 100 million PS2 models worldwide.

And how many is this "most" that you claim? I seriously doubt that you've completed most games in the entire PS2 library. I still see no proof of PS1 games being longer or harder than PS2 games. You're all on crack unless you tell me real proof. Because as far as I'm concerned, it depends on the title.
